ABOUT

I question the natural and artificial through appropriation, alteration and manipulation of digital images, recalling the worlds of advertising and science fiction. My work invites the viewer to re-consider nature: nature as instinctive behaviour, and nature as the material world independent of human activity.

I completed my MFA in Printmaking with distinction at Edinburgh College of Art in 2011. I received my BFA in 2008 at the University of Kansas with Honors and a studio emphasis in Expanded Media.

I currently live in Minneapolis, MN where I actively contribute to the artistic community through an internship at Highpoint Center for Printmaking and my work as Artistic and Marketing Associate at the Secret Knots Gallery. In addition to these roles, I share my teaching skills with the community as a substitute teacher for the Minneapolis Public School District.
